3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.
2 Corinthians 1:3-7
We are doing okay, and still taking life a day at a time. Our family and friends have been so good to us, we have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and we have felt covered in prayer. There are still a lot of tears, but God has been our strength and will continue to carry us through.
DK flew in this past Sunday and we've spent the week with him, which has been a tremendous blessing to us, and just what we needed. This weekend we will take him to college at the University of Central Arkansas where he received a golf scholarship.
Its looking like Matt has found a job, but its not official yet. He has went through all of the interviews and now we're just waiting to hear. We will find out for sure the beginning of next week, and then we'll post the details. Until then...
