Last night Matt's throat started hurting and this morning he isn't feeling much better. As I write this, he is taking a nap. Please pray that he will not get too sick and will be feeling 100% soon!
This morning we left at 10 to go eat breakfast. We went to the first place, they mainly had drinks and only a few food items on their menu. So we kept walking...and walking. We headed to another cafe we knew of, got there, then realized it was Sunday and they didn't open until 2. So we went back to this other cafe we had found on the other side of town, that was supposed to open at 11. We got there about 11:15 and they were not open yet. Yulia knocked on the door, and someone answered. They told us they were up late celebrating the New Year again last night so they were not going to open until this afternoon. This was true of the other two cafe's we walked past in order to get to the cafe we went to first.
We were quite hungry, not having had breakfast and walking around for an hour and a half! I will admit, my caramel latte and caramel pancake (crepe) were quite tasty, although not that filling for them to be my breakfast and lunch! Matt had a ham and cheese pancake (crepe) and hot tea. If you know Matt, he doesn't like hot drinks, so you know he isn't feeling well!
In just over a hour we get to go see R! Its the highlight of our days!
