So there hasn't been any change in my cervix, still at a 4.5 and 80%, BUT there has been progress. Red has dropped even more and is right there, whereas before he was higher and would move up and away during the examination. Dr. W says this is great progress and my body is naturally preparing for labor. The dilation and effacement I have had the past four weeks are due to having a weak cervix, not my body going into or preparing for labor naturally. So we are pretty excited about this news!
We are still hoping to make it until Dr. T gets back from vacation Friday night, as he'd be really disappointed to miss out on meeting Red and we'd be bummed he wasn't there as well.
